The Geophysic series from Jaeger-LeCoultre originates from 1958 and was technical marvel incorporating a chronometer certified movement with a soft iron inner case for antimagnetic advantages. This modern relaunch from 2016 adds an unusual complication, the dead-beat seconds mechanism. Adding an additional hairspring to the movement, the second hand jumps precisely once a second, making the time reading more efficient. A complication often referred to as a doctor’s watch, for easy measuring of pulse rates. Furthermore, the automatic cal. 770 movement boast the innovative Gyrolab® balance wheel, taking accounting for friction and weight balance.
